United Way of Lee County supports 12 local nonprofits that partner with us in our work. Together, we work for the education, financial stability, and health of every person in Lee County.


4-H of Lee County
Develops a variety of life skills in young people to enable them to become responsible and productive citizens

Boys and Girls Clubs of Lee County
Provides after-school and summer programs inspire youth in grades K-12 to achieve their best (mentally, emotionally, physically, and academically), build good character, and promote service to others.

Central Carolina Community College Dreamkeeper Fund
Provides limited emergency financial support to students who would otherwise have to withdraw from school.

Christians United Outreach Center of Lee County
Provides emergency food and other services to help people become less dependent on public aid

Family Promise of Lee County
Provides homeless families with shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services to enable them to transition into stable permanent housing

HAVEN in Lee County
Provides crisis intervention, shelter, and supportive services to victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault and to their families

Helping Hand Clinic
Offers comprehensive scheduled health care to indigent uninsured adults at no cost

Lee County Partnership for Children
Works to reduce infant mortality and prevent teen pregnancy; provides programs such as NC Pre-K, Smart Start, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and Reach Out and Read

Legal Aid of NC, Local Office
Provides free or low-cost legal services in civil matters to low-income individuals

Outreach Mission, Inc.
Operates two low-barrier shelters for persons experiencing homelessness

The Salvation Army of Lee County
Provides emergency food, clothing, and financial assistance and programs to help clients become self-sufficient

Warren Williams Child Development Center
Provides support through the NC Pre-K program to at-risk four-year-old children in Lee County
